Great Scanner

I have had an Epson Scanner for about 4 years but was ready for an updated model. I purchased the Epson V600 scanner and it is so much faster than the earlier version. I am scanning many older family photos and the scanner helps with improving the quality of the old photos.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am 100% pleased with the V600. Ease of operation and quality end result are the two things I was looking for and this unit delivers. I send lots of plats and documents to people in my business and this stand alone scanner works perfectly.

This scanner is amazing to me. Definitely picks up the photos wherever you set them and makes great scanned copies in a very reasonable timeframe. I have used it for slides also and it is incredible. I have a Mac, and was stymied for a minute with the discs (which the Mac would not read), but after I realized I had to download the software from the Epson site via the internet, all was well. the scanner is easy to use, pretty much does it all for you so it requires very little instruction. The one over-view sheet is sufficient. Thanks for this great product!

Good scans, breakable irreplacable frame

The scans are awesome, and the speed is pretty fast. But the plastic frame you put the 35mm strips in is flimsy and I already broke one. There is not a spare part on the Epson website and I had to buy a whole new scanner.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson V600 Photo Scanner

Very easy set up using Windows XP platform. I had noted some reviews stating software difficulties but experienced no problems with installation myself. The unit was up an running in a very short period of time. Primary use thus far has been scanning 40 year old slides. The process was extremely simple and quality of the scan is excellent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far I love this machine. I don't understand why people have said it's hard to set up? It was a breeze and I'm not the most computer savvy person. The ICE works wonderful making the orange looking, discolored photos come back to the original look. Love the Epson product! It scans very quickly.

Top hinges delicate

Had an accident and Top hinges completely snapped after a shallow fall. Now have to tape top to bottom to keep alignment. Investigating a fix.

Great Scanner

I have had the scanner for a week and have already scanned photos, negatives, and slides. Easy as it can be for a non techie with super results. The directions are not complicated and start up was simple. Would recommend this to anyone to preserve treasured photos
