The V600 scanner pairs perfectly with the Epson Sty;us Photo 1400. 6400X9600 resolution is grand. Both work as expected. High quality at a reasonable price.

This product is light years ahead of the one it replaced. It has taken me a while to become familiar with all the features. I use it primarily to scan colour slides which I am in the process of archiving. I am very pleased with the results.

The first thing I scanned were our old faded wedding photos. The color had faded almost to non-existent. With the scanner set to automatically correct color, the photos looked like new! Everything else works perfectly too.

Epson V600 Perfection

It appears that Epson knew what they accomplished when they named this line "Perfection". I haven't used all the features yet, however, the photo restoration capabilities are fantastic. A bit on the bulky side but unless your space is limited to a small closet, this shouldn't be an issue. For me, the most difficult part of this was to find one. Many of the places I shopped were sold out. A good indication that the word on this unit has spread. Moderately priced considering the V600's capabilities. A great buy. Thanks Epson

Researched for some time for a reasonably priced scanner for 35mm slides. Color and definition are important for medical slides converted for digital projection. I am very impressed with quality of digitized slides so far. I'm not a computer wiz and have no experience with Photoshop Elements. There were no instructions regarding the use of Photoshop but I assume the information is on the disc. The only downside may be the time necessary if you have many slides to digitize.

scanner meets most of my expectations. I used it for film, prints and slides. The only thing that I have a problem with and maybe there's a way to solve this is that on medim format negs. the scanner will not scan the full 6x7 neg. or a square medium format.

I tried out this unit and I am impressed. This is the third unit that I have used from Epson and this one so far is the best. Very compact and yet excellant results, easy to use and great quality in the end. I would like to have seen more information on some of the functions just to get use to the scanner and the commands but it was not hard to understand or figure out how to operate the unit.
