Great Scanner / mediocre software

i've owned this scanner for about 11 months now and i'm very happy with my purchase. the installation couldn't have been easier, operation is a breeze, and the scan quality is perfect. the only negative is the software which is slow with minimal features and limited flexibility; i would gladly pay for an upgrade. this is probably the best flatbed scanner for the money, i only wish they had put the same level of quality into the software.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have found this scanner an excellent choice. I have touched up old military photos and the restoration process was very easy given the software that was included with the product.
I have recommended the V600 to my friends.

Over all for the money a good scanner with good results it is unfortunate that the negative carriers could not have been constructed better. Difficult to load and very flimsy, do not hold negatives flat or securely.

I have been using this product primarily to digitize a lifetime's accumulation of color slides. It is easy to use and does a great job. I must confess that I have not used competitors' products, so I have no basis for comparison. So far, however, I have been pleased with the Epson V600.
I would recommend this to a friend!
