I have found this scanner an excellent choice. I have touched up old military photos and the restoration process was very easy given the software that was included with the product.
I have recommended the V600 to my friends.

Over all for the money a good scanner with good results it is unfortunate that the negative carriers could not have been constructed better. Difficult to load and very flimsy, do not hold negatives flat or securely.

I have been using this product primarily to digitize a lifetime's accumulation of color slides. It is easy to use and does a great job. I must confess that I have not used competitors' products, so I have no basis for comparison. So far, however, I have been pleased with the Epson V600.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy install, good support software and the V600 performed impeccably. I restored 300 forty year old color slides at 600 dpi resolution with amazing results.

For once, a product that performed as advertised. It has been used for scanning photos, slides and negatives. The scanner is easy to use and the supplied soft wear is adequate. No complaints from me.
