No problems with alternate downloaded driver to use with my OS, photo and graphic scans are fine, but I ran into difficulty when switching from photo scans to slide scans, unable to reset the scan mode to 'positive film' as needed when I opened my scanner from my laptop. Very frustrating!! I've not yet solved the problem. This may not have been the best choice of scanners to meet my multiple needs.

easy to use

My husband purchased this as a Christmas present for me as he knew of my planned project of scanning family photos from at least 30 albums into the computer so that I could eventually make DVDs for the kids. He also knew given the thousands of photos, I wasn't interested in anything complicated. This scanner is very easy to use. It handles photos of various sizes and multiple pictures at once as long as they fit appropriately onto the scanner flatbed. All I need to do is click scan, and color enhancement is also easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This scan was very easy to install and use. Excellent quality of scanning material from black and white printed material to color photos. A very good value for its price.

Excellent scanner for slides and papers.

I purchased this scanner specifically to scan our old family slides. The quality is excellent, and after the first few slides I was able to develop a good rythm. I had no intention of using this scanner for documents, but it works beautifully, both for color and black & white materials.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic Scans

This scanner is a staple in my photography retouching business. I'm able to scan 35mm film and medium format film perfectly. Also, retouching those old family photos has never been easier. I would recommend this to any photographer shooting film.

Love the product with built in Photo Shop. Because I have so many pictures to scan wish it had a photo feed. Back in the Day we only had snap shots. Very please but time consuming
