Fantastic Scans

This scanner is a staple in my photography retouching business. I'm able to scan 35mm film and medium format film perfectly. Also, retouching those old family photos has never been easier. I would recommend this to any photographer shooting film.

Love the product with built in Photo Shop. Because I have so many pictures to scan wish it had a photo feed. Back in the Day we only had snap shots. Very please but time consuming

The unit does a good job on slides and photos. It could have had a more complete and useful "users manual" to tell you what all the menu items were for instead of trial and error.

Nice little scanner

I bought this scanner primarily to scan medium format film, and it does a great job of that. The only issue that I have is that almost everything I scan is black and white film, and the DIGITAL ICE software doesn't work with b&w to fix scratches and spots on the film, and they don't advertise that point. Their other option for scratch and spot removal only works some of the time...I'm not sure why this is. In those cases I end up having to spend quite a bit of time manually removing the dust and scratches with Photoshop. Other than that, it is a great scanner.

35mm slides

I think the V600 is a very good scanner for slides. It scans them fairly fast even though it only will do 4 at a time. After you have a system down pat your speed picks up as how many can be scanned. Easy to bring back into standard condition. I have 3,000 slide taken in 1956 to 1980 and I was happy to find a reasonably price scanner that I can used for other projects. I also have a Epson Styllus Photo R220 that goes well with the V600. Thank You Epson!

Epson V600

I was unable to use the Epson V600 scanner because this error message appeared at install on my Windows XP SP2 computer: "Driver cannot be installed because it is either not digitally signed or not signed in the appropriate manner." I have no idea what that means, so I put the scanner in my basement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This scanner does all and more for me to archive the many picture and slides I have taken over the year. I find it easy to work with and offers so much more than I had anticipated. . It does it for me.
