Does the job on Medium Format film

This product does the job for me under the following situations. Scanning 6x9 color and b&w negatives in conjunction with Photoshop. The film holder does not support 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 sheet film. You will have to find a work around that suits your needs. The software works but could be improved. For the price I love the product it brings my 45 year old images to life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Scanner looks good, wrong software

My printer was advertised as containing Epson's easy photo fix & Adobe Photoshop software. That is the software that I desired. Instead is has Arcsoft photostudio, and Easy Photo scan. What can be done about that?

Second Epson Scanner

My Epson Perfection 3170 Photo scanner, that I have had since July of 2004 was starting to freeze periodically during scans recently. I checked the reviews of current Epson scanners and based on those reviews, I purchased the Perfection V600 Photo scanner. I expected it to scan better than my 3170 but it does not based on my comparison of scans of 10 different pictures using the same settings on both. The only feature that I like about the V600 is that I only have to raise the cover half way up. On the 3170, it had to be raised a full 90 degrees. I had higher hopes for the V600.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

NOT SURE YET

Just received on 3-1-2017, yesterday. The set up seemed easy but I have not found out how to scan slides which is the main reason I bought this. I wish it came with a paper print manual because it is not easy to find and follow the on-line instructions. I would rather do a review a month or so later.

Very Capable Scanner

I've been using this scanner to create files of old photos. It's a little slow, but does a very good job. I am happy with the scanner. I have made use of the image adjustments to remove much of the yellow tint that seems to accompany old photos. It gets a little better each time I try it. I guess practice makes perfect .

It's is new, all I have done is about 100 35mm slides and they came out great, looking forward to scanning a lot of archived medium format and 35mm negatives.
