Good scanner, works great, price is right. All is good with this unit in terms of performance as a scanner. Instructions leave much to be desired, way too intuitive, not enough written about "How to scan" , "How to copy". etc. All is learned by trial and error.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this scanner a couple months ago and am so far very pleased. I'm sort of a "dummy" and even I could do it with a little perseverance. I haven't figured out all of the features yet, but have been able to scan many old pictures and even color corrected one. Only problem so far is I haven't figured out how to acess the manual...
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was able to scan in thousands of 35mm and 120 negatives and slides, making high quality jpgs.

Excellent scan results

I'm digitizing very old 35mm slides and negatives (color and B&W negatives) as well as large quantities of color 126 negatives that my wife took when the terrible Kodak Instamatic camera was foisted on the public (OK for small prints, but nothing else). The quality of the scans is excellent, and the Digital ICE technology has saved many images that the ravages of time have degraded. I had to purchase a 126 film holder, and the process of digitizing these images is rather tedious. I wish the process for this film format were as streamlined as for 35mm negatives. But that's the only shortcoming for my digitizing requirements. All in all, it's a fantastic scanner.
