I bought this unit to replace an older unit, the 2580 scanner. The 600 is an excellent replacement and brings the software up to date

Versatile scanner

Had issues with the Epson ABBYY FineReader software which is not compatible with Microsoft Office Suite software in both Windows 10 and Windows 7 Pro.
The scanner will not recognize multiple pictures as individual files but scans the array of photos as a single scan regardless of separation between photos.
Cannot tell if dust removal software works.

Works great for my uses! Relatively fast scans of negatives that meet my current needs without unnecessary file bloat.

Great Product

I have a gazillion negatives and slides that I wanted to get digitized and this has proven to be a really great way to do it. I can decide which ones I want and what type of file and the sizing of each pic as well. I will be a while, but this is well worth the money if you have the time to scan them yourself.

Easy operations great results

Surprised at the results I received. I used the Epson 600 for scanning old photos & old negatives. The CD it comes with is not compatible with windows 10 but its available on the Epson web sight. Overall great product & results
