I have had it for one month and am still trying to learn how to use it. The software is more involved than my previous scanner and therefore takes some getting used to. But it does seem to work as it was designed to do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had an HP scanner for nearly 20 years. It recently died. I bought the V600 and have scanned over 2100 pictures already. I am very satisfied with it. I haven't figured out as yet how to scan a legal size document. Other wise, I am enjoying my Epson scanner. I am retired and have over 15,000 pictures on my computer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Software needs to be updated!

Software is marginally compatible with Windows 10. If the interface window is minimized, it locks up. Hardware seems to be well built.

I have scanned over 2000 color slides and have about 10,000 to go; the more I use the machine, the more knowledge I gain, and the better the images are.
