Covers many but not all film sizes

NEGATIVE COMMENTS: I have a collection of negatives of family photos, going back to the 1930's. The negatives are in many formats, but the V600 carriers natively handle only 35 mm slides, 35 mm/126 negative strips and medium format negatives up to 62 mm wide. I have some negatives that are 45 and 70 mm wide, and 16 mm wide 110 format. I have a 3D printer and printed my own carrier for the 45 mm wide negatives; I just place the 110's on the bed next to each other inside the medium format carrier.
POSITIVE ISSUES: I have used the copy feature to make a copy of a paper document, and it is faster and simpler than scanning to a PDF and printing. Converting color negatives to positives, especially using color restoration, is very easy and gives great results. I like being able to outline multiple negatives prior to scanning, and having the scanner save each negative in batch mode by holding the CTRL key and clicking each negative. I could not find his time-saving feature mentioned in the User manual. I have not tried scanning 35 mm slides, or OCR conversion yet.

Purchased about 2 months ago with the intention of scanning/digitizing family photos dating back 4 decades! Picked a flatbed scanner because of scanner simplicity for less moving parts. Scanned many many photos totaling 95 gigs so far with no problems whatsoever. Quality of the resulting jpeg files are very good allowing for editing when needed. Very happy with this Epson scanner.

Great Scanner

I got this scanner for Christmas and have used it to scan color 35mm slides. The scanned images are identical to the slides being scanned. At four slides at a time, it will take a while to scan the 1000's of my Dad's slides, but for the price you can't beat it.

The V600 Photo Scanner makes enhancing your photo scans an easy task. Adjust color, tint, brightness and orientation in a flash. Love the feature to clean up backgrounds and fill in scratches and marks on old photographs. Converting old negatives into photos is quite good with clarity better than I expected. Great product for home or light commercial use.

Excellent quality and results

I have used this to scan over 1500 slides with excellent results. It is not fast but the results more than compensate for that. My only wish is that it came with a frame for 120 film slides. The ICE software is very good at cleaning up the images.

Received this as a gift from my children so that I could digitize old family slides. I am very happy with the product. Sure there are features that could be improved but you can also work around with ease. I have slides that are 60 years old rekindling special memories - creating a legacy for the photographer - very special.
