It does 2.25 negatives

This scanner works very well on 2.25 x 2.25 black and white negatives I had from the family archives. Most only do 35mm, so this was the one I needed. I had an older model Epson scanner so this was an easy hook up and run.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson Perfection V600 photo scanner

So far photo scanning Pro level is pretty darn good. I scanned over 300 hundred photos and I have been able to enhance some very amateur photos to a picture of decent viewing. Working better then my scanner from Palo Alto Calif. I have not scanned negatives yet.

Made my scanning so easy

The main reason I bought this scanner was for my old slides, I really had no way to view them. This scanner made it so easy to view. I also got to save all of them to digital format and perform color correction. I also scanned a lot of old pictures and did color correction. Love this. Buy it, you will not regret it.

A very good scanner for my purposes seeing that I have 35mm and 21/4 negatives to scan.
My only problem is with the placement of the on /off switch on the side and back of the unit.
Repositioning of this switch to the front of the unit would be a good change to consider.

Scanner, great - Software, not so great

I am disappointed in the software. I am able to scan, but only one of the buttons on the menu works on my iMac. I am looking to find other software to give me the features on the scanner, but not available to me. Had I known this going in, I would have looked at other scanners.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent for slides and negatives

I have scanned over one thousand negatives and slides so far and everything has turned out great. The scanner is easy to use and reliable. Scanning twelve negative frames at once is fast and easy. It is the most efficient and reasonably priced scanner I have seen. Highly recommended.

Great scanner

I am working on saving over 1,000 slides digitally. These slides are over 40 years old and the scanner is doing a great job. Color is great also. I have tried other scanners in the past and this one is so easy to do. I am so glad I found this scanner and can finally complete a job that has to be done.

40,000 NEGATIVES!

I purchased the V600 mid-year 2015. I have been taking photos since 1957 (my first camera was a Kodak Starflash). I am scanning my negatives to be able to give my three sons all of the photos my wife and I have shoot over nearly 50 years of marriage, and all of them growing up. The Epson is the best scanner I have tried (had three prior to the Epson). I scan the negatives using ICE and then sometimes touch them up in Adobe Lightroom. 40,000 neagatives and still going strong...LOVE THE EPSON V600!!!!!
