Transferring slides to digital format -crazy easy!

My mother has decades of slides that require full set up of an ancient projector and screen to view. This scanner has made it incredibly easy to transfer the slides to a digital format, and therefore much easier to view and share with other family members.
This photo scanner is ridiculously easy to use - and I am NOT a computer person whatsoever. It has the capability to transfer 4 slides at a time; negatives from developed film; and, of course, photos of all sizes.
As our parents get older, my husband and I plan on scanning their old photos so that everyone in the family can enjoy the family history.
Highly recommend this scanner.

Epson V600

I have used the V600 for scanning various type of projects varying from scanning plain documents to films i.e. color negatives both positive and negative, black & white negatives from 620, 35mm, 120mm and the results have been very good. Have also use the V600 as a copy machine with very positive results (hard to tell the copy from originals).

I have had this scanner for 11 months and am getting pretty efficient digital conversion. I have done over 17,00 photos so far, mostly 35 mm slides but some photos. In most cases where I have photos and the original negative it is easier to use the photo than the negative for a couple reasons but primarily a "curling" problem with negatives but partially because many of my negatives are not in strips of 4. I give the unit a 4 because the original unit developed a focus issue. Epson replaced the unit but forgot the FedEx return shipping tag but they did get it squared away.

Everything I was looking for

I needed a scanner that could scan negatives of all sizes. While this one does not have a specific slot for size 110 film from back in the '70s, it is extremely easy to fit it into one of the other forms. It also scans "positives" which is helpful. Fixing color, etc. is easy and can be done automatically or manually. I simply can't say enough good things about this product. I bought two of them for my business. The only thing I can't comment on, at this time, is longevity, because I've only had it a short time. But, I have an older Epson scanner that is still working great and it's about 8 years old.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First time scanner buyer. After spending about 2 hours reading and experimenting with settings I'm pleased with my results. It will be a long term learning process as I continue using scanner.

This scanner has done a great job. I bought it to scan slides and I have done several hundred with many yet to go.
The software allows for flipping and many editing options before the final scan.
Excellent scanner!

Very fast scanner...love it. Can scan pictures at 1200dpi in 2-3 minutes. Would highly recommend it for scanning pictures, negative, slides, documents, etc.
