So happy I chose this scanner

I bought this about a week ago and just installed and used it tonight. I had been kind of intimidated and scared that I wouldn't be able to figure it out. I was wrong! I am 63 and not really technical but after installing the software on my laptop I tried scanning a few photos and it was so easy! I have not used any advanced features yet but I now feel confident that those will be easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Third Epson scanner I've bought

This is my third Epson scanner. My 1st was the V300 then the V500 and now the V600. All of them are excellent. Some ask if they're so good why I this the 3rd one? Most people use a scanner every once in awhile. I use the scanner almost daily and for 8 hours a day. So, I flog my scanners. The hinge on the V300 broke after several faithful years of daily use. The V500 is still going strong, I bought the V600 because I'm so darn busy.
BTW: I also have an Epson ET-7750 Printer and a PP-100AP Disc Printer.
Epson makes great products.

I bought this to replace another scanner and the Epson works much better .Very user friendly set up and use. It works so well that I used it to re-scan slides I had previously scanned with my old scanner and I got much better results. Both automatic and professional modes worked well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

NICE PRODUCT IF CONNECTED TO MICROSOFT WINDOWS. NOT WORKING WITH APPLE, EVEN IF A SOFTWARE FOR OS IS DOWNLOADED.

I bought this unit to scan photos to save family memories and to pass on to children. The photos I had to start with were 50 years old. I was pleasantly supprised at the quality of scan. Photos were discolored from age, however the scanner with accompaning edit software automatically restored the images to original or better in many cases.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought my Epson Perfection V600 scanner yesterday (December 21, 2021), possibly too recently to write a solid review, but with help of three YouTube videos I've gotten my V600 successfully scanning color slides from 1966 - and it's working well. My only complaint is that the color slide scanning controls that I've been given - downloaded today from Epson.com - differ somewhat from the controls that the YouTube reviewers have. It would be nice to be able to follow along with them step by step, but I can't.

v600 Very Good Machine

I had an older model that I used a lot but had to replace it as I couldn't get to hook up to my new computer so went look for the same kind as I loved it. After spending a few hours looking and comparing the V600 won out as I was already aware of what it could do and it wouldn't be that hard to run it. The V600 was to do more things as I have some old film I couldn't do on the other one that I can do on this one so I was Happy to be able to makes copies. I have put it through the paces as I spent 4 days copies pictures that my bother had that I didn't and it just keep running like a Timex. After seeing how well the V600 did my-sister-in-law got one for them and is very happy with it.

Great scanner

I love all of the features on this scanner. It scans photos, slides, negatives without a hitch. The only negative thing I have is the the holder for strips of negatives is a little difficult to work with. The negative strip doesn't stay put. But that's a minor problem. It way the colorization can be improved and minor flaws in the photo can be eliminated is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!
