I am an old avid photographer since the 1950's, I also inherited my Professional Photographer Dad's prints, B&W color positives, negatives and slides to add to mine. This scanner has help me revive the past in ways I can not adequately describe. It is a little slow like me, but provides accurate high quality results for all needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson V600 Scanner

I bought this scanner to create JPG files for more than 2,200 family 35 MM color slides recently discovered in my mother-in-law's basement that dated back as far as 1956! The finished product is truly outstanding and I recommend this scanner for projects of this type. The software also allowed me to successfully remove both scratches and dust from the slides to create beautiful files. We made BR disc copies of these files and have given them to other family members as Christmas presents! I later used the scanner to copy 4x6 photographs of an European trip made in 2000 with similar success. I highly recommend the V600 scanner to everyone considering projects of this type. It was money well spent!

Perfection

Just as the name implies, it is a perfection scanner. I purchased this to digitize a slide gallery dating back to 1958. You should see the quality of the photos. like they were orginally taken yesterday. A great value.

Great Scanner for Photos

I recently decided to find a scanner for my use in digitizing all my family photos that I've acquired over the years. I wanted one that would produce top quality images and also allow for some basic editing. After doing my research, I settled upon the Epson Perfection V600 Photo Scanner as the best combination of price, quality, and functionality.
So far I have digitized about 150 photos and done some touch-ups of about 50 of them, and I am very pleased with the results. The learning curve is pretty short; the scanner is very user-friendly, and the results are excellent. It fits my needs perfectly. I have not come across any negatives with this scanner.

Use of Epson Products

I have used Epson Scanners and Printers for more than twenty years. They work seamlessly with my MAC computer and I can obtain excellent results. My scans are always accurate and the colors are very good. The photo scans are very sharp and accurate. I would recommend these products to a friend.

Love the V600 Scanner

I am an amateur photo enthusiast and have just run across boxes of old family slides from 3 generations back. After taking a limited number of them to a professional company to have them scanned to make print copies I realized how expensive this could become. So I researched slide scanners and decided to try the Epson V600.
This is one of the best investments I could have made! It makes excellent scans and is very easy to use! I scan the slides, touch them up with my photo shop program, and print them for everyone in the family. Can't wait to try the film scanner option!

Impressive

Purchased the flatbed scanner to scan old negatives, positives, and prints. It does a nice job. Easy to install and use. Downloaded most recent driver for Windows 8.1. Like the software, some learning curve, but by using and experimenting easy to get very good results. Lots of tips and tutorials online for this scanner also. Do not be fooled by reviews older than a couple of years. The newer drivers seem to have helped with resolution and contrast problems reported in early reviews. Worth the price if you want to digitize old photos, negatives, or slides.

I have many (hundreds) 35mm slides that are quite old and wanted to convert to a digital format. The V600 performed exactly to my expectation bringing life to my 60 year old slides. The software made it extreamly easy on my MAC AIR.
