Epson V600 scanner

I love this scanner. I have scanned thousands of slides and have had very little trouble. It will restore color on some slides that are over 40 years old and removes dust motes well with the digital ice feature.
Occasionally the scanned copies have black borders and I have to re-scan them or edit the borders out. I do not know why this is so I have started previewing every copy before scanning to make the correction necessary.
The color is good and with a little editing it can be restored to the original quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

good scanner

Very good scanner for ordinary use.
The scanner only scans 4 slides at a time. I would like to be able to scan lots of 35 MM slides and negatives quickly. The prints are pretty slow at a reasonable resolution for printing 600dpi.
I scan large objects. I would prefer legal size bed, fold out supports for heavy objects to scan like albums and books.
I would recommend this to a friend!

and have found it has done everything that it was
advertised as doing. I used it for many 35mm slides, with several that were of very poor quality
and with the software provided really made them
much better. I'd gladly recommend it to my friends.

Beware the ABBYY Fine Reader software

The scanner is great, but...if you have Office 2013, the Reader is not compatible. No warning is given in the packaging. Don't load it. The Epson Support site notes an update. I didn't try it--just uninstalled the Reader.

The price and service were good. So far, it does everything it was reported to do. I wish it would have come with Elements 12 not 10. I hope it endures. Its ease of use is fine. I have used it with photos only, thus far.

We needed a more versatile Scanner for our Family History Albums.
This one does what is needed and does it well.
I think anyone who has a chance to use this Scanner will appreciate the quality of what it can do.

Higher quality scanner at an excellent price. Easy to use interface. Great software bundle. Lots of flexibility. Ships quick. Couldn't ask for more. I highly recommend
