Excellent product that lives up to claims in terms of quality, ease of use and performance. Perfection does not come around that often, however, Epson has come quite close.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is actually my second unit, the first one arrived "dead in the water".
But this one works perfectly.
And I also had a good experience with the support person, he was very patient and acted like he cared.
The result was in three days I received the replacement with no hassles what so ever.
I highly recommend the v600.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really haven't used all of the features yet. The few I've used I'm satisfied with and do not expect to be disappointed. I am currently using your V300 and am very satisfied with it.
Question how can I set up a folder entitled "scanned photos family event 1", instead of the My pictures folder, the default scanner folder?

Is a little slow scanning slides, but the results are very good. Good scanner for the money.

V600 and slides to backup disc

I think the Epson Perfection V600 may be perfect for print-pictures (great quality) but old slides are problematic by not always centering an image… can't figure it out since the other 3 may scan beautifully. Need a feature that clearly indicates SLIDE to hard drive (or Photoshop file).
OR need the workaround.
Would recommend the quality.

Slide and Negative Scanner

I have used this scanner to convert old color slides and all sizes of negatives, both color and b&w with great results. I only wish it was a faster process, as I have literally thousands more to do.

I got my new photo V600 Photo Scanner-followed the instructions to install the software turned it on and......................NOTHING!!!!!!
I then got on the internet using google and uploaded the new driver and everything worked out! I would like a larger "control center" while it is on! and I haven't gotten it to e-mail a scan yet but I am sure I will figure it out!! The hardware looks and acts great just a more complete package would be better
