Excellent Tool

Like so many of us I have a large number of 35mm negatives and slides and bought this unit to begin the process of digitizing them all over time of which I have plenty.
The set up directions could have be clearer but You Tube came to the rescue !Once set up scanning of both slides and negatives was easy and the results optically very good. I thought the two frames for holding the media could have been more substantial as could the positioning of the frames on the scanner - I finished up using duck tape to minimize movement
Overall I was very satisfied with the scanner and achieved a very reasonable throughput rate of about 35 slides/hour.

This scanner is easy to use. Features I love are the auto cropping which saves me so much time and the lid will allow for laying albums or books which is a huge help when pictures are stuck in albums. I have not tried the negative slide thing yet but the auto scan feature does really well without customizing settings.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Equipment

This scanner does exactly what it is promised to do, scan photos, slides, and negatives to several different resolutions.
I previously used the old reliable Epson RX-700 to perform all these functions and more, but now combine the V600 with the XP-610 as a team to do the same, and very well.
I can wholeheartedly recommend the V-600 as a worthwhile addition to your computer desk.

Great scanner

I purchased this scanner about a month ago because I have so many negatives from the time before digital photography. I have 35mm negatives going back as far as 1970. I have used the scanner to transpose them to digital images. They have been excellent. I have shared them with relatives and friends whom we have known for that time. I have used the scanner to put about 400 negqtives on to my computer with no problems what so ever. I will update this message when I have used it for another few months.
I would recommend this to a friend!

V600 Photo Scanner

V600 Scanner

This scanner is reasonably priced, well built and easy to use. My scanning software, Snag It 11, and the V600 got along just fine. I scan damaged photos for repair and found the V600 detail was very usable.

Excellent Color and Resolution

I used this scanner to scan 1100 photos for a class reunion, and it never let me down. It replaced one that was much less expensive (which was also an Epson) that had started "clunking" at every scan. This one never made any unusual sounds and worked very efficiently to allow me to complete my work.
