Best scanner for copying 35mm slides

Bought this almost two years ago to start going through years of old slides to copy to distribute to family members.

Excellent in copying slides

I tried another scanner to copy vintage slides. I sent it back since it made whites look yellow. This Epson does a perfect job and is very fast in copying 4 at a time.

I watched a utube tutorial on how to scan photos and the screens didnt look like the ones on the down loaded driver and utilities software what gives

Hi Tony, there are third-party drivers that can run the V600 scanner, so the videos you saw may have shown one of those drivers. Unfortunately the product havs been having problems. it worked great for 3 months with minor problems, but now it started having problems every hour. I need to close everything and re start everything for it to work. Not a practical program unfortunately

Easy to use and great features

This scanner is good quality and delivers clear scans of pictures. I like the fact that I can place multiple photos on the scanner and it separates them for me.

Faster & Even Better Epson Perfection Model

I've been thinking about getting an upgrade from my V330 for several years and finally got the V600. It is a little larger (length) than the older one which means I had to set it up on the top of my credenza instead of inside a cabinet. But that's okay. It is quieter and much faster and I think the PDF's are clearer. I'm enjoying it and should not have waited so long.

This product has been one of the best investments I have purchased for my business. It is user friendly and quick. The software that comes with it from 3rd parties has given me problems but the Epson software works perfect.

Epson V600

Epson v600 scanner purchased today to replace my old Canoscan 9000F. After I pressed the power button, the scanner made a grinding sound like stripping gears then the error button flashed. Scanner worked after cycling the power four times.
I'm keeping the Epson and getting the extended warranty.
