Major problems with installation.

Installation causes corruption of Windows Office Applications. I am still trying to work out the bug. I did some test scans and they look OK. Epson needs to fix their driver. I can't really give a complete review of scanning function.

Love this scanner for high resolution artwork

I use this scanner for my illustration business and I have been very happy with it. Even when you are scanning a larger piece you can do it in sections and sew it together in Photoshop. The software installation and user interface was easy to work with. Great product and value! I also have another epson workforce scanner printer that has been solid for years.

I've had this for about a month and happy with it so far. I like the auto feature that digital removes dust and scratches it helps a lot! Though keep in mind you should still clean the slides etc. I am using it to convert all my family's, slides, negatives, photos to digital. After a lot of research and reviews this suits all my needs especially for this price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great scanner for film

I bought this to scan my B&W negatives that I develop at home. It did such a good job I went back and re-scanned some color negatives that I had done commercially, and it did a better job than the lab did.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Outdate Software

The scanner will no longer copy film strips or slides because the software no longer offers that option for the current Mac OS.

Time consuming

I needed to replace my older scanner. I read lots of great reviews. I bought this scanner because of the ICE technology and price. However, I was very disappointed to find that it will only scan 4 slides at one time and half the negative strips. It takes a long time. I will eventually finish my project, but if I had it to do over, I would not buy this product.

Software is Garbage

Great scanner, but inconsistent and outdated scanning software makes it difficult to use when scanning multiple page PDF documents.

Love the scanner

I bought this scanner about a month ago. Very little info came with it so had to go to You Tube to learn how to work it. Love it!
I primarily purchased it to scan negatives and it is a little disappointing I can only scan a couple of old negatives or only two small strips of 35mm at a time. I have a couple of thousand to scan and it is taking a very long time. The functionality of the scanner is good with many options. I will eventually get them all done :)
