The Perfection V600 is Perfection

I bought this scanner to replace a 2450 I've had for several years. The specs on the V600 vs. the price were quite impressive so I ordered it, received it and have been putting it to heavy use scanning photos and historic documents. The results have been awesome. I've tested it's film scanning ability and for what I consider to be routine personal and commercial grade scanning this scanner does a great job on film, too. The V600 has been an excellent investment.

EPSON V600

The V600 has been great for my transferring slides to iPhoto. What's more it copies other documents just as well. A good product to have for use in photos or documents.

Epson PERFETION!

My review title "Epson PERFECTION" was simply because after installing my new scanner . . . It couldn't have been easier and I couldn't be HAPPIER.

Not compatible with Windows10

I have used this product for years and was devastated when our desktop updated to Windows10. I have tried everything I could find online to solve the issue but to no avail. What a bummer to see the product is still being sold knowing full well it is not fully compatible with all systems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Difficulty getting software for MAC computers

I just purchased the Epson Perfection V600 Photo stand alone scanner on 7/25/23 and am still working with Epson to download software to work with MyMac Ventura 13.4.1 computer. I have now spent about an hour and a half. I may have to return the scanner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ordered direct from Epson, it arrived in perfect condition, and worked as expected. My wife is a watercolor artist and she is very happy with the scans that she gets from the V600. I would recommend it without hesitation. I would like it if Epson included the Arcsoft "Scan-n-stitch" software with it.
