This is the best printer ever. Exceptional quality prints and you don't need a computer to print them, just put in your SD stick and print. However, if you install the software on your computer that comes with the printer, and use your computer, then you can even click on "smooth the faces", and then it really comes out looking like professional prints. You also have to use the computer in order to crop your photos. You just click on the "positioning" option and then click on the photo with your mouse and move the photo around. You can use the arrows they have, but it takes much longer to crop that way. Be sure to order the USB cable needed though, you just put it into your USB port on your computer and then to the back of the printer; easy. When you go to order this printer, it will give you the option to order that cable so you know you are getting the right cable. You can also make wallet size and miniwallet sizes with this printer, they print on the 4x6 paper and you cut them out..no need to buy different paper for that. But you can't make any bigger than a 4x6.

The printer is great. The website and its advertising is not. Full of fine print and exculpatory clauses. AND ........ somehow, I did not realize I MUST purchase toner and paper as a bundle. This practice should be illegal. Shame on me for missing it in the original advertising. I would have purchased another brand.

I am 69 yrs old. As technology challenged as I am , it was so easy to print pictures and download the PC software to be able to print pictures from my PC.
The pictures are very clear and the color is beautiful . I would recommend the Picture Mate photo printer to my friends and family.

Store-quality photos!

I have only had this printer for a few days but have printed over 100 photos and am extremely satisfied! The photo quality is as good as if not better than in-store, and not having to leave the house to pick up photos or wait for photos in-store is great. The price per photo is a little cheaper than if I order them in-store, and I save a lot of time not having to email photos to get them ordered elsewhere. It can take upwards of a minute to print a single photo depending on if you use red-eye reduction and other features, but it's well worth it if I can do it anytime, anywhere, even in my pjs. It is easy to use, very portable, and will definitely come in handy during the holidays when I take a family photo and can immediately print several copies for everyone there! I am a parent and consider this a must have for keeping track of growing children! Extremely good quality, especially compared to a different brand printer I used until now. I have already recommended this product to several friends.

Perfect size printer,well designed. Shoots out great colorful images. I wish it came with a case and a reasonable priced battery, which would make it truly mobile. the price to produce pictures are very economical. It is easy to set up and to print. The 4x6 size even looks bigger then expected. The Picture Mate seems to be sturdy and very durable.

My husband gave me this printer for Christmas, and I LOVE IT!! The quality of the pictures are great! I love that I can print multiples on a 4x6, which is perfect for a lot of scrapbooking layouts. This is a Scrapbooker's DREAM printer for sure! I don't know if I'd use this all the time to print my photos, but I like it for traveling and when I need to print wallet size or smaller photos for those scrapbooking layouts that need small pictures, or if I'm trying to fit more photos on a layout. The printer is small/compact. Overall...GREAT!

This little printer is mobile even w/o power (optional battery pack which I purchased), produces lab quality photo's and is pretty quick. Wish they made one to do 8x10 with the same quality. Very satisfied.
