Epson Picture Mate Charm PM 225

Good quality 4 x 6 for a 4 ink printer, couldn't get the bluetooth usb toggle to work as it stated when I bought it.
Really wanted it wireless.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Picture Mate Printers - Portability

Picturemate printers are great. This is my fifth one. I carry one in my backpack all the time. Lots of people take digital photos no one ever sees. I give people prints right away and they are wonderfully surprised (instant gratification). The optional battery gives the system real portability. The printer's edit controls work well and allow you to generate a professional product. My only suggestion is to bring back the PM 290 (CD capable) and to produce a ruggedized picture mate printer. It would also be nice to sell ink packs separately.

Epson Deluxe PictureMate vs. Charm Printer

I wish you would not have discontinued the Epson Deluxe PictureMate. I loved my little printer...but after having printed many pictures for many years, it gave out. I bought the Charm Photo Printer and it does not have half the features that the Deluxe has/had. I like the cropping feature and how we could choose the different types of sizes of the pictures (border, borderless, half-page, wallets, mini-wallets, proofsheets). I especially liked the 1/2 page feature because at times you do not need a full 4x6 picture. Also, my daughters enjoyed the Disney Borders that were included in the printer. The Charm prints beautiful pictures but I miss the cropping feature. Maybe your next generation of printers might include this and the 1/2 page selection. I would recommend this to a friend that has not had a printer like the Deluxe PictureMate.

Epson in Haiti

I purchased the printer to replace an older model PictureMate and to bring it to Haiti with me on a relief mission. My intent was to be able to take "class pictures" of the residents of a girls orphanage and school.
I was a little concerned that the printer would not survive the trip, as it was rough going once in Haiti.
The printer performed very well. It did survive the trip and I was able to print the photos without incident. We needed a printer that was fast and would print from the SD card without the need for a computer.
It was very easy to use and even survived two power losses mid cycle with no problems. (The power is very sporadic in Haiti.) If you are taking it to a place where the power is questionable, I would recommend purchasing the optional battery which I did not do. This would have prevented the delays caused by the power glitches.
The girls were thrilled to have their photos taken and so were the adults that managed orphanage. Apparently this had never been done before even before the earthquake. They never had any pictures of themselves.
We were able to produce very professional quality photos mounted in a frame and gave the girls a moment of joy in what was a very difficult year.
I would recommend this printer as a great general-purpose device where you need to produce high-quality prints quickly and easily.

Best Personal Photo printer ever!!!

I have 3 inkjets in my house all purchased in the last six months and was never satisfied with the quality of photo prints. My hobby is photography and I love to make collages of my photos. I purchased the Picturemate Charm because the advertisment I read used the words "professional quality" and "Personal Photo Lab". I wan't sure about the ink cartridge and the paper being packaged together but desided what if it knew??? The printer came with a cartridge and 20 sheets of glossy photo paper. I was amazed as I printed 20 really sharp vibrant quality photos and the printer then told me I needed to replace the cartridge soon. I was able to get 6 more prints before it stopped. I hope all the photo packs are that accurate!! I love this printer!

Love it! I have to say when looking for a great printer that I could count on I found this one. Never in my life did I think it would work this GREAT and easy to use! I haven't found one thing about it that I don't like. I'm a scrapbook who designs for other companies and needed a nice printer to print photos out to place on my scrapbook layouts when needed ASAP. Then I upload my designs to their websites right away. So having a clear, well printed photo is very important. Thanks Epson!!!!!!!!!!

I am using now the Charm and it is superb. I started using picture mate years ago . This is my third one.
They print with true colors and lab quality with simplicity of use. I should be a broker for them I have helped at least 14 people purchase them after they saw prints of mine and how easy they were to use!
Love the products. Wish the ink kits were a bit cheaper but still worth it.

LOve it, esay to use, quick printing very good printing paper colors pop out. makes black n white prints, wallets proof sheets. I only wish it had a cropping function, other than that I give it an A+
