Needs a matching vented dryer

Washer is great, alas had to use samsung dryer as LG only offers a non-vented small dryer. LG missing out on huge condo/apartment segment by having no product offering in that space. Hope they add a matching vented dryer for this product. FYI no problem using samsung dryer mounting kit on top of this LG washer.

Excellent front-load washer for small spaces

I have owned this washer (and matching dryer) for two years, and absolutely love both.
I live in a one-bedroom condo in which the only space that can accommodate a washer/dryer is under the kitchen counter. This duo fits perfectly side-to-side and have performed flawlessly for two years.
I especially love the speed with which this unit spins the clothes. Once done, they feel more dry than wet, and this definitely cuts down on the drying time. Considering the speed with which the drum spins, this unit is exceedingly quiet, and I love the chime at the end of the cycle.
I know that some people have had mold issues with front-load washers, however this has not been a problem for me, ever. I do, however always leave the door open a crack once I have removed the clean clothes.
I am grateful to LG for manufacturing such a high quality product that addresses the needs of people living in condominiums and apartments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was considering this unit for our park model. To my surprise, the timeshare we are enjoying has this exact unit. I have washed and dried eight loads of the CLEANEST clothes l have seen in years. AND l have been using a front loader for 17 years in my home.

We are not at all happy with this machine in less than a year all the boards went out took for ever to get them replaced and now 17 months later they have gone again now the waiting game one again to have it fixed. Thing about buying another brand!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So many bells and whistles in a Small package!

I've had my washer and dryer set for two and half years now. It's definitely pricey for its size. They're a perfect fit for my laundryroom 4.5 x 6.5 x 8.5, so I was elated to have them stacked. I have used all of the wash cycles, options, and soil levels. I use the Sanitary cycle to wash whites, pour liquid bleach in the fabric softener dispenser and it sanitizes the machine at the same time. I swear by the Hand Wash cycle, finally No More handwashing! I like all the sounds from the chimes/jingles to vibration of the spin cycles. I wish I could upload a pic of my laundryroom, it is the cutest. Thanks to LG I truly enjoy doing my laundry now!

Great washer

The washer is great! It holds the right amount of items for a single person or couple. The clothes come out extremely clean every time. The pump is a little loud and operates frequently; however, the normal washing and spinning are very quiet.

A Delight in our kitchen

It's a modern, amazingly attractive feature in our kitchen. One of its greatest features is the size especially the height. There are few machines that fit under a marble counter. We looked and spent many hours reseaching for a reliable, quiet, and energy efficient machine that would satisfy our needs. It has all the features one could possibly need. We heartlily recommend this machine. And it is rated highly by a major consumer organization

Excellent washing machine. Has features that appear as overkill initially but become very useful over time. Water heater feature is very useful on front loaders because initial fill may be from colder water still in hot water pipes. Largest capacity of the apartment size washers. Elevated stand very expensive for what is provided
