It does a great job!

We moved into a house with antiquated washer & dryer and wanted to find something that would fit in the small space (we were limited by depth). The vast majority of front loaders were too deep, so we had to go with something more compact. The WM1355HW was relatively new on the scene and seemed to fit our parameters. First off, it does a great job. It's got lots of settings and we've already gravitated to a couple that fit our clothes washing needs. While it does vibrate a little during the spin cycle, it's not as bad as I was fearing. I've seen some other front loaders on YouTube clips and this doesn't make it into that realm of absurdness. The only main gripe I have is the instruction manual - it's just not comprehensive enough for my tastes. For example, it didn't explain the little pictures/logos on the front and it took some time before I deduced that they indicated what phase of washing the load was currently in. Otherwise, I've thoroughly enjoyed having the WH1355HW and its dryer match, the DLEC855W. I hope and expect the trouble-free washing and drying to continue for many more years!

The washer is located in a second home so it has limited use. However, todate it has been excellent. Quiet, easy to use with good results. The only negative is having to wipe the door seal dry to avoid mildew. I guess a small price.

love the effeciency and features. I don't understand why there is a water resivoir that needs to be emptied even though the water is pumprd out and then there is the matter of drying the door to prevent a musty smell. This seems like a little too much care taking, my daughter's front loader doesn't need this nor did my top loader. Otherwise am pleased with results in all settings/cycles, like the looks and the compact units don't seem to sacrifce load volume and effeciency. This is my first experience with front loader compact washer.

I love the size of this washer which needed to placed on the 2nd floor of our house. All bedrooms and master bath are upstairs and it was a necessity to create a laundry room upstairs. As empty nesters now, I find the size to be perfect for our smaller loads.
I am delighted with the little tunes it plays and find myself wanting to catch the end of the cycle just to hear it!
Clothes come out clean. They are not twisted and tied around each other like our old washer would do. If properly balanced, it is a very quiet machine. It is a very each machine to operate with every option for every fabric type.

Quiet machine, holds a king comforter and gets it clean. I have animals and our blankets end up as sand pits and full of hair balls. This cleans well! The seal needs wiped out frequently and the glass front needs wiped off. I leave the door open in between use and there has been no odors. A friend said hers stuck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer a while back along with the matching Dryer. They are an excellent pair and together make up our closet washing pair. The washer does a great job on any type soil.

I no longer have to go to a laundry mat for my bulky comforter and blankets. Yesterday, after hours of yard work in the rain, the clothes that were caked with mud and clay came out perfect. Have even had some older clothes with set in stains come clean after being washed in the new washer! It is a bit intimidating at first with a rather complex operating panel but reading thru the owner's manual takes away that anxiety.

Cons: wish the default for water temp was c/c
