Almost perfect

This is a perfect product for blu-ray viewing and netflix/youtube etc. I haven't experienced any problems so far.
It has some usability issues though :
1) You cannot type movie name in netflix to search. This means you have to do some home work on your computer if you want to watch a particular movie.
2) The length of the text field for YouTube video names is limited. If a video has a long name (like the loooooooooooonnnnngggg cat ) then it won't show up completely on the screen.

The unit is excellent. I have had to update the software a number of times. Updating is as easy as everything else. No problems.

All appears to work well after three weeks, except that it will not stay activated with Netflix. Netflix says that the LG blueray player is the problem. I've updated the software to the latest via internet.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was so easy to hook up to the LG tv. One HDMI cable from the blue ray to the back of the tv and put in a movie. It is cristal clear and even make the DVD's look better. It was a package deal when I purchased the tv. Love the LG products.

The Blu- Ray player was Very easy to set up and is very easy use. Excellent quality and good value for the Money.

This blu ray player has amazing quality for the price. It is amazing how much better it even makes your old DVDs look so much better than they used to. I would recommend this to anyone.

What a pleasant suprise. This couldn't have been a better purchase. My first LG product. Easy to set up easy to use Great picture and great features. I've had LG BD550 for about 4 months. No problems. No complaints
