This refrigerator is by far the best we have ever owned. The technology is useful and effective.
The only fault we can find is that the ice cube dispenser is a little bit messy. After using, you have to wipe down the outside of the glass of all the ice chips. This happens with either cubed or crushed.

After 7-8 months in use I have found this unit has just got to have the worst ever control panel to operate and the ice maker is not and has not operated right from day one. It has never made a full bin or anywhere close to full and the touch control is terrible. Sometimes you can just barley touch it and it will function and other times you can push your thumb off and it will not do anything. Also it seems the buttons move under the panel as they are never the same place twice in a row. These two features would have to improve drastically before I would reccommend it.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, lousy control panel
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't buy this piece of junk

We purchased this refrigerator about 1 1/2 years ago. The ice maker quit within 8 months, had to have it repaired. The air chamber/fan behind the freezer was having problems had to have it repaired within the first year. Here it is 6 months later and the freezer is having problems again for the past month or so. I take a hair dryer to it to get the fan to stop squealing. Today it won't dispense water????? The water is getting to the ice maker so it is not a water flow issue; probably the computer board in it this time, who knows I refuse to spend any more money on repairs on the thing. I think it is ready for the dump after less than 2 years. This is by far the worst refrigerator purchase we have ever made in our 35 years of marriage. I would not recommend or purchase a Samsung as a kitchen appliances after this bad experience. I would give it no stars had I the option to do so. DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK REFRIGERATOR!

Love This Refrigerator!

I have had this refrigerator for over a month now and I love it!
Only complaint is it does shoot ice out at you when using the door ice dispenser. But every thing out it is great.

Love it! Love it! Love it! Thats all I can say. Its is very durable and my children are really hard on products. I love the door alarm that goes off after its been open to long. Love the sleek appearance too.
