I wasted my money on this grill. The top of the grill rack is way hotter than anywhere else. It is hard to light with the electronic lighter. Fires pop up all over the grill surface except the bottom edge. The opening in the back lets too much air in and allows flame ups to happen and keeps the grill too cool in the winter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This grill is large and will grill a lot of items at one time. I still need to learn that the rear of the grill seems to flare up and cook the meats faster than the front of the grill.

The back of your grill has carryover tubes that allow the flames to transfer from burner to burner and this creates the extra heat. This added heat will help with searing your food. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 and we will be able to provide more information and best assist.

I bought the C-69G5 about a year ago. It with stood a very nasty winter outside with absolutely no rusting at all. I grill about 3 times a week all year round and use the searing part of grill often. Great feature. It's very easy to keep clean.

I have had this grill for over a year and it is everything I had hoped. Has a large surface to handle enough for a large party at one time. I also use it with a rotisserie, only problem is that I had to buy a new rod so it was long enough for the grill. Does a great job for everything and I use it for meats thru vegetables.

I bought a new starter. It is IMPOSSIBLE to put in without disassembling the entire grill. So the old broken one is still in place and the new one is dangling by the wires. It works, but I'd like to know the name of the moron who designed this. (I point this out to everybody who comes over - and steer them away from Char Broil products. Who know what other problems are built into your products).

It's good, ignitor went bad less than a year , also exterior changed color

excellent has a lot of cooking space for big parties we grill 5-6 days a week and usually burn out our grill about once a year and buy a new one-this is our 5th grill
