Worked GREAT...3 times and then...

Assembled easy (easier than legos), fairly sturdy and cooked great...3 times.
On the fourth try, I went to fire it up and the control knob would not turn. It was an easy push inward and turned smoothly previously. Not now. It's like the thing is frozen. I've opened a support case, but any product that fails this quickly has some serious issues...wondering what other gremlins are going to pop up now. :/
I smoke weekly and grill almost daily. Fortunately I've got a stick burner, a gas smoker, a gas grill and charcoal to do my cooking, 'cause this thing is dead.

It's the best all-around grill I've ever owned. Simple, just right in size. Quick, easy cleanup. Totally dependable. Consistent.

I love my Big Easy Smoker, Roaster, Grill! I use it mostly for cooking turkey and chicken. I started several years ago with the Big Easy oilless fryer. It was stolen off our deck. I had to replace it immediately. Replaced it with the original smoker, roaster, grill. It was even better as it could accommodate a larger turkey. I usually cook a 20+ pound turkey. Last fall I upgraded to the newest model. Old one was still working beautifully. It was passed on to a lucky family member. Several people wanted it. Everyone wants to come to our house for Thanksgiving and Christmas just for the turkey. There is never any leftover turkey. Turkey/chicken comes out so moist and juicy - never dry! Nice to have the oven available for other items.
Only improvement would be the ability to convert to natural gas like our Char-Broil infrared BBQ.

The smoker works faster than my old charcoal smoker but doesn't have near the smoked flavor. The basket that came with it is a joke!! Turkeys, chickens and hams stick to to sides. Pretty much destroyed 2 turkeys and 4 chickens trying to them out of the basket that came with it. There's no thermometer on the thing to help with regulating the heat. If it hadn't been givin to me as a gift, I'd go back to my charcoal smoker!!!!!

Its ok - its nothing more than a glorified roaster. Save your money and use your oven and buy a real smoker.

Just put it together today, it took about an hour or so. Plan on cooking something this week. It looks good,it's heavy and I hope it cooks great. I will let you know after my meal."........great product so far......
