Been using my smoker for 6-8 months. Whole turkeys, 2 to 4 whole chickens, all come out very moist and juicy. Would like to see the smoke box be a better design. We use our unit once a week now.

Parts no longer available, why would I recommend an item, you can't replace parts on. It was to expensive to start with.

I bought the grill smoker 2 months ago. As a grill it is excellent, great grill marks very hot which is good for searing. As a smoker I'm a little disappointed. Cannot get the heat low enough. Smoker box is awkward to put in and out. Wood chunks work better than chips. grease catcher is great. Overall I'm happy.

Bought this and use it every weekend......plus my smaller one...the smoker aspect of it works great and everything comes out wonderful.... Grilling hamburgers and brats are great no flare ups.

While the big easy is an excellent grill doing fine work with most grilling on a wide variety of meats, it is not a smoker. The lowest setting still keeps the heat around 285 degrees or higher not allowing for the low and slow of smoking. I am basically happy with the product but disappointed that I cannot smoke at low temps without using a needle valve after the regulator to drop the temp. I am working on a better solution but haven't come up with anything yet. Maybe I will buy another smoker from another company. We'll see.

I have used this a a grill, a roaster, and a smoker. It has performed well. Chicken and turkey comes out like it was done in a rotisserie. The only negative is the plastic knobs. The knob for the igniter gave up the ghost after just three uses.
