Do NOT buy this pedestal if...

Bought this with my new washer and dryer and after the installation was finished I found out that you CANNOT store your "normal sized" laundry detergents...
The internal dimensions on the "lip" of the pedestal its-self stops the drawer from being able to close with laundry detergents in the drawer!!!!
Are you KIDDING me LG? Who designed these things?!?!
I am literally going to have to take an angle grinder to the lip to make room for normal sized laundry detergent to be stored!!!!!! SO FRUSTRATED!

Second LG Steam Washer
on February 27, 2013

I had the original TROMM steam washer and loved it. This one has taken that concept and improved upon it. I like the cold water cycle. The washer seems more efficient in determining the cycle length compared to the old one. My only issue is that the cycle modification buttons are near impossible to read without shining a light on them. LG should either abandon the buttons and go with a touch screen interface or backlight them. I had to resort to using the label maker. Other than that this washer does not disappoint. I also own the matching dryer and have a LG French Door refrigerator with two freezer drawers. I am sold on their products.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Convenient yet too small for drying rack.

Having the pedestal with a drawer does two things. Raises the dryer to a good height and keeps the manual and dryer sheets handy. The major drawback is that the drawer is not big enough to store the drying rack even with the divider removed.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Height Dimension Is Ridiculous
on June 13, 2013

This pedestal is about one inch too short to accommodate the most common bottle size (100 oz) of Tide liquid detergent. The bottle needs to be tilted and fed under the support bar as you close the drawer in order to store it in the stand. The same for removing it. Then you need to be careful when you open the bottle, because the contents will drip out. Now I will need to buy the smaller size bottles which are more expensive. What were the product developers thinking when they designed this stand? My previous Whirlpool didn't have this problem.
I recommend the product only because it is the only pedestal you can get for my 4.0 cubic foot LG washer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too Small

This particular model of draw looks pretty, and pulls out with ease. It also has a center divider. All of these features are great however, the depth of the drawer does not allow for laundry detergent and softener containers to fit in the drawers properly. The drawer will not close because the containers are to tall for them. I wish they would make it a little bit taller so there would actually be functional and not just used for stands, like in my case.
