Timer not very loud

Timer is not very loud and often goes off unnoticed. Don't like how the oven seems to "run" after you shut it off because it's cooling down. Also, I don't like how if I am preheating the oven and decide to put something in prior to oven being preheated completely, the oven light turns on and cannot be shut off and the oven will not continue to preheat to desired temperature. Seems like an odd feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

convection oven

I replaced a older ge profile convection oven from the mid 90s due to the control head going out, this model is built so much better and more efficient. And it does replace the older GE built in perfectly in the same cabinet without modification.

We bought this oven together with a GE gas cooktop to replace 26 year old appliances. The space available was a problem and, with a little bit of tweaking, these 2 appliances look terrific and work wonderfully. I haven't used all of the functions yet, but I especially like the ability to lock the push button controls from little hands.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my new GE Oven

This GE wall oven was a replacement for an oven that we purchased when we built our home, so I was concerned how it would fit. It is perfect. The operation of the oven when using the convection operation is so quiet, I am very pleased with the look and function.

We love it. But, the controlls are very sensitive . We brush by them and they activiate. Need to have them locked so as not to start anything when leaning forward.
