A wonderful range, but a few problems

I bought this range because I've wanted a gas range. It is beautiful and works really well. A few problems. Under one knob I can see where holes didn't line up and a screw was left out. On the range top, when a screw was put in it damaged the coating around it and was touched up very sloppily. The oven is way off on temperature - about 35 degrees. So the main problems seem to be in manufacture. Otherwise, after figuring out the temperature problem, it works well and looks beautiful.

Very Nice Range & Oven

We bought this in early December to replace an electric cook top and gain an additional oven. The gas range cooks much faster than the electric cook top it replaced and the gas oven heats and cooks faster than our electric oven. Overall we are happy that we bought it and very pleased with the performance. Some details to be aware of - We installed the range in a peninsula with bar chairs across from the range top. There is a small vent that sticks up at the back of the range and can to 160° when the oven is cooking at 350°. Our cabinets are the maximum depth (24”) recommended for this range. The front of the range (not including the handle) sticks out about 3 ½” beyond the face of the cabinets which is a bit more than we would have liked. We had to adjust the range to the maximum height to match the counter top. This left a significant space between the bottom of the range and the floor, and if left open makes the range installation appear quite unfinished. I inquired to GE and was told that they did not make a panel for the bottom. It would be nice if GE made a kick / tow panel for this range.

Sleek and classic styling

I bought this a month ago and just recently had it installed. I love the professional look of the range and the many cooking options. The number of burners and placement are perfect. I love how low the flame can go for those recipes that require little heating. The convection is wonderful and everything I have baked has come out beautiful!.

Great performance; easy to clean

My contractor recommended this product. The convection features cut significant cooking time and the "rapid boil" burner is great for those big pots of soup or boiling water for pasta. The removable parts of each burner make the stovetop a breeze to clean.
