Takes getting used to

I bought this slide in range to replace a slide in electric convection oven/gas cooktop. It took a while to get use to the controls on the oven/timer and the way the gas convection oven worked. Also, I have already had to call GE repair technician out to replace a broken ignition unit for the gas cooktop elements. I had only had the stove for 2.5 months and it took 6 weeks to get the part because it was backordered. The repair techs were great once the part came. One of the reasons I bought GE was because of the good service people.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Oven

Cooks great. Need to adjust oven temperature for dark pans and use lower end of time range or food will burn. Grates allow a lot of cooking space, however, heavy and bulky which makes cleaning a challenge sometimes.

The problem is that it is hard to keep clean. It leaves streak marks and I have to use a special fiber towel. It is not great if you cook alot
