Strong and powerfull

Cooks well, and works according to temperature setting.
One minor issue, bake and broil together to change settings, are a little hard to press, there should be one button for settings.

First New Stove After 20 Years

We purchased our new slide-in stove in March, 2016 and so far, we are pleased with the features on this unit, especially the five top burners and the large, three rack oven. We selected white for our new stove as well as the other new appliances we bought, too (refrigerator, dishwasher,microwave,etc.). We did not want the stainless steel or other colors available. Our kitchen now looks great with our freshly painted oak cabinets and new appliances...a great way to celebrate our 50 years of marriage!

Not happy, made an unfortunate choice.

Our first mistake was buying this range "sight unseen", based on reviews and other recommendations. I'm sure that for many kitchens, this range would be just fine, but for us, it's: (1) too hot (2) too large (3) too many "features" for us. As I said, we're ruing this decision to pay such a large amount for what has turned out to be a disappointment.
We have found that cooking on this unit is difficult - moderating the temperature level and trying to reach over the extra-hot areas to get to other parts of the stovetop are intimidating. We've also found that our pot handles almost always get so hot that they can't be touched without a hot-mat or some kind of protection. This was never the case with our old GE gas range.
In short, we wish we'd never bought this range, and would love to figure out a way to get rid of it, and get something smaller and less powerful.
Our advice to others is that you get a hands-on view of this unit before buying it. Do not guess and "hope" that it will work out all right.
Our next step is to try and trade this range in (at a loss, no doubt), or just sell it, out right.

So Happy with My GE Appliances!

Accurate temperature and modern appearance

We've been using this range for about six months. The burners are sturdy and solid.
The oven has very precise temperature and is roomy inside.
We are very happy with the square look, it adds a modern dimension to our old fashioned kitchen.

Even Tempered Range

While we've only owned our range for four months, we're very pleased with its performance. The burner controls provide an immense range of cooking temps and the oven provides accurate and evenly-controlled heat. The only negative is that the design of the storage drawer "handle" makes the storage drawer very difficult to open.
I would recommend this to a friend!
