5burner slate range

For our use, the fifth burner is unnecessary. I miss not having a designated place for a spoon rest. I also don't like where the knobs are placed. It is very easy to knick the panel and it gets filthy with cooking.

Love the 5 burners and larger oven

The 5 burner is great, able to cook more. Oven cooks well and is larger than the item it replaced. Also like that all the controls are on the front, so I don't have to reach over the hot stove.

Beautiful range

Love this range. The front left burner is a "quick boil" and it lives up to its name. I love the continuous grates, which make it easy to move around large pots. The oven is huge and has 3 racks. Baking lots of cookies is easy when using the convection feature because you don't have to shuffle the racks. The storage drawer below the oven holds a surprising number of cookie sheets, cooling racks, pizza stone, etc. The only con I have found is that if you spill or have a boil over you cannot clean it up right away because the entire grate is only two pieces and would require moving a hot pot and lifting a hot grate. You have to wait for everything to cool down before you can clean up. This would be the only con to this unit. It's beautiful, works as it should, was easy for my contractor and I to install, and easy to clean.

It's a stove!

This stove was needed because one part for the otherwise perfectly serviceable GE range was no longer available -- due,of course, to planned obsolescence.

Great Stove

I am doing a major remodel so haven't been fully functioning yet but so far love the stove. I am enjoying the preheat indication (did not have this on my last stove) . Timer gives you a 1 min warning....very nice. Oven heats up fast! Love the burner and stay lit on low!

Convection Oven

I love the cook top & the space it gives me for more pots on it.
My complaint is I thought I bought a real convection oven but it is a big disappointment. My previous range had a real convection oven where you bake/roast at 25 degrees cooler & in much less time. With this range you keep the temp as required for the receipe & for the same amount of time. I have not been able to back a pizza right so far & everything seems to take longer.I would recommend it only to someone who is not a baker
