Great Product

We have only been using this range a few days but so far it has me our expectations. Purchased the slate model because we didn't want stainless. The color is great! It is well built. Unlike our previous ovens, opening the door on this one feels like you are doing something, with a very solid feel. Expect to get many years of enjoyable cooking out of this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Control panel

I like that it is a black slide in convection but did not realize that the control panel sticks out about 3 1/2 inches further out than the counter. This makes it a stretch to use the microwave and cabinets above.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Difficult to fine information on cleaning exterior

I have spent over 2 hours trying to find cleaning instructions since none of the products I tried on the BLACK surface removed smudges, drips, finger prints. I can not recommend the black surface because I have always had a white stove and it much easier to keep clean.I'm sorry because I think the black is smarter and I really liked my new stove until I tried to clean it to show it off to my friends. I'm going back to my dull old white. Too bad.

Just an OK product

I ordered this in January because of the nice look. The black slate was very appealing for our kitchen remodel. I had a total of 4 delivered before I accepted one in April. Everything delivered had cosmetic flaws, even the one I did keep. Seems to work well, but seems made very cheap, definitely not worth the hefty price tag. Not sure if I would buy from GE again.

Great product

We had a previous GE gas range before and this model's innovation was all we have looked for in a gas range....the front controls especially which was the first thing that broke with our first one because of it was at the back. It was literally burned from all the cooking baking that the controls were unreliable at first and eventually gave out all together.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome looking oven/stove, works great, looks great, but wish the grates on top were a little different as there are too many gaps and things get caught or fall in when set on top.
