[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I've had the steamer for about 6 months and I use it quite frequently. I went to use it the other day and I stopped steaming. I loved the product and loved how clean it had gotten my floor, however long term it failed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Has great potential, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like Swiffer products in general, so I thought the Steam Boost would be a slam dunk. I love the way it cleans, but I have some issues with the size and location of the steam trigger. I have arthritis and I find that using the steam trigger is very uncomfortable and hard for me to use. I use the steam boost for cleanups when I don't want to have to use my larger, heavier Bissell Symphony and I really like the ease of using the throw away cleaning pads. The steam trigger on the Bissell is flat and runs the full length of the handle (where you hold it) which makes it quite easy to use and I have no discomfort using it. I really prefer the results of the Swiffer Steam Boost over the Bissell Symphony, but because of the discomfort in using the Swiffer, I usually opt for the Bissell. Maybe you could do some research regarding the placement and type of steam trigger that would be more user friendly for customers like me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] why don't you make the hole in handle larger so you can run the cord thur it.that way you don't have to hold the cord with your hand , to keep it off the floor?

Do not like the refill pads

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Any chance we can find refill pads with no smell, and most importantly no chemicals??? I would prefer to only use water vapours/steam for cleaning, nothing else...2 drops of essential oils at the most...

Makes Cleaning Floors So Much Easier!!!

This Swiffer Steam boost is amazing! It was really easy to assemble and came with very clear directions for use. It was very easy to fill the water container with the water and attach the pad to the bottom. Once I plugged the machine in it took about 20 seconds to heat up and the light came on to alert me that it was ready. Once I had the machine together, I swept the floors as I normally would and then used the Steam boost Swiffer. It is not very heavy at all, and was very easy to glide across the floor. It cleaned my floors exceptionally well; I even used the white sock test to see how clean it was! My socks are still white hours later! I cleaned my living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry room, bathroom and hallway with the steam mop. I only had to use 2 pads to cover all of this flooring! Keeping my floors clean is an everyday hassle for me, not anymore! I have 2 dogs, so I am always trying to keep the floors clean. I used to use a mop and bucket every day, which was a pain. I am so glad to say that this will be part of my new daily cleaning routine. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with hard floors! It makes cleaning so much easier and left my floors spotless with a nice shine to them. My fiancé even noticed the shine and how clean they were when he got home that evening. I cannot wait until this is released so I can purchase more pads for it.

I received my Swiffer product on Tuesday of this week, it was great timing because I was ready to clean my floors. In my house I have a varity of different types of floors so i was excited to see which floor it would clean the best.
I first cleaned my hardwood floors, this did not go very well, I do not think this product was built to use on these types of floors. It did not pick up the dirt like I thought it would. So that was a bust!
Second, I cleaned my kitchen floors which is the fake hardwood. Success! The floors came out looking wonderful and I was very please with the results.
The bathroom floors are laminate so I was curious if I would get the same results as the kitchen and it was also a success. With the swival head , I was able to get in places that I had not been able to reach, like under my claw tub. My husband was very happy to see that finally a product that was made by Swiffer that cleaned the floors to his liking.
The only thing I did not like was the handle, It was very loose at the bottom and I had to figure out a way to keep it down in tight so the cleaner was getting water to make the steam.
Overall it is a great product and I will definately recommend it to my family and friends.

I have never tried a swiffer before and i have always wanted too.so when i got picked to try the new swiffer i was excited.it is awesome and so easy to use.it cleaned the floor extremely fast,i have a big kitchen so i had to use two different swiffer pads.we had a stain on our floors and with the steam from the swiffer it has lightened it up a bit.im sure if i continue to use it soon it will disappear.i like that its light weight and can fit any where.i like the steam but i wish it would make a little more or something more wet at times.overall it was perfect and i love it!
