2nd purchase of Swiffer BISSELL Steamboost

I had purchased my first Swiffer Bissell Steamboost in August. My entire house has ceramic tile so this was a must in our home! I loved the mop right away. It did an amazing job cleaning and I loved the fresh scent it left behind and a feeling on our bare feet of "clean". One day I filled my steamer with bottled water and plugged it in, but it did not work properly. It steamed continuously leaving a trail of water behind and went through the reserve of water terribly fast. It still worked but I had to trail behind the puddle and went through way too much bottled water. Not sure exactly what happened to my steamer, but luckily my daughter bought me a new one for Christmas this year. I recommend that everyone keep their receipt and UPC code just in case this happens to them because I didn't. I would have gotten my money back guarantee but never took time to keep it! I still love it and am excited to mop again with ease using my new steamboost.

Great little steam mop!

My kitchen has real hardwood floors that looked dull since moving in a couple of weeks ago. I decided to wait until I received the Swiffer Steamboost mop (powered by Bissell) to give a true test. When I first opened up the box, the mop seemed a bit small and very light. I read the directions and poured the tap water into the tank. This was a bit hard considering the hold to pour the water in is a bit on the small side. A little bit of water spilled out while doing this. I would recommend widening the hold or providing a small funnel to make this process easier.
Afterward, I applied the cleaning pad and plugged it into the wall and waited for the recommended 30 seconds for the water to heat up. The blue light came on indicating it was ready.
This is a well made, handy little mop! It managed to get up bits of food stuck onto the hardwood and give the floor a nice finish! I also really like how fast the area dries. The cleaning pads along with the steam seem to get a deep down clean look and feel to the floor.
I've used previous mops and cleaning solutions that took a lot more time, but without the great results I got with the Swiffer Steamboost mop (powered by Bissell).
Overall I would definitely recommend this product! The convenience and ease, along with great results makes this my first choice! I was so happy with the results, that I decided to clean the other hardwood floors and bathroom tiles in my house. Fantastic results as well! I does not spray in caulk along the wall so I am not really happy with the cleaning because you have to get on your knees to get along the wall

I have only used the steam mop once, so far. It cleaned well, and I very much like not having to wash the pad, BUT, the scent of the pads is WAY TOO strong and lasting. We left windows open and still could smell it 24 hours later. PLEASE make the pads unscented. Some of us are sensitive to fragrances, even allergic.
Pros: light weight good in corners
Cons: too smelly

Not a Good Product!

I have had my steamboost for only 3 months, when the plastic trigger snapped and broke. For the amount of money you spend on the product alone then for the pads. One would be better off getting a different steam mop with the cloth pads you can put into the washer.

The night I received the Swiffer Steamboost I had to try it. So I unpacked it and assembled it was very easy to do. It came with 22 refill pads, and uses plain water. I couldn't believe how quickly it heated up the water for the steam to work, it was less than the 30 seconds stated.I was ready to begin on my tile floor in the kitchen which is high traffic area. It was very easy and didn't take long as quickly used it after finishing cleaning up after our dinner. I could not believe the amount of dirt that came up from that little area I had chosen, and it dried very quickly which meant no tracking by my dogs. No other cleaning apparatus that I have used has dried as quickly or been as easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

THE STEAM IS MINIMAL AND NOT HOT THE PADS CONSTANTLY COME OFF AND YOU HAVE TO USE ABOUT 3 EACH TIME AND THEY ARE EXPENSIVE FOR THE REFILLS. WISH I COULD GET A FULL REFUND

I thought it would be quick and easy to use..But it leave streaks on my wood floors and the floors look horrible after using it. Plan to get a refund.
