What's great about it: A lot of storage easy to get at everything
What's not so great: Ice maker stops making ice, it gets jammed.
Like the Design We had this unit sence 11/17/2011 The ice has jammed twice up in the top stopping the unload forks from rotating.
Had to use a blow dryer to remove the wedge ice. If it does it one more time i will call for sevrice. looks like a design problem.

This fridge is awesome!! We have had it for a week and its absolutely perfect for our family of 6. I went shopping the other day and it was so nice to be able to fit the 3 gallons of milk I buy along with the 5-6 other jugs of juice on top of all the other groceries. There is tons of freezer space as well. The lighting is also pretty nice, I have not one bad thing to say about this fridge. I would recommend this to anyone, especially big families.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lots of space!!! for a family of five!! (haven't been able to fill it up yet)
Reliable (had one before at previous home)
The twin cooling feature keeps the freezer free from icing up. The new 5 month old GE we replaced kept on icing up all the time.
No filter water dispenser though. Only drawback I can think of.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Internal Water Filter, LED, Space, Price/Value
What's not so great: Deli drawer can come off it's track
I chose this product primarily because I like the internal water feature. It gives you the benefit of cold filtered water, but does not take up the space of most indoor external water filters (great idea by Samsung). I have read other reviews that people have seen the internal water dispenser drip or have a dripping problem, I have not experienced this. Yes the dispenser has a few drips after you fill up a glass, but it is not a constant issue and I don't find it to be a problem. The LED lights inside make the product look great. There is a ton of storage and the layout of the fridge is great. The only negative that I have encountered is that sometimes the deli drawer occasionally falls of the track. The ice maker works fine, I have had no problems with the ice tray overfilling (auto shut off works fine).
I purchased the stainless steel, rather than stainless platinum (largely by accident). At the time I purchased I did not know what the stainless platinum was, the BB sales associate did not know what the platinum was either. After reading about the two, I decided to keep the steel as I have all stainless appliances and was not sure if platinum would match. I had BB deliver it, well worth it, two guys brought it in and set it up.
In my opinion, this fridge is the best value out there. If you like having filtered water but don't want a 1/8 - 1/4 of your fridge taken up by the indoor units, this is a great solution. In this fridge you get the full 28.5 cu feet for storage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: Stainless doors are non-magnetic (not a major concern), and can take more appearance maintenance (but worth it!)
We spent a great deal of time researching this purchase, and got it at a great price on sale (25% off). After careful review of all the available brands and their models of this type, this Samsung 28.5 cf refrigerator ended up as our final selection, after patiently waiting for the right sale. It is incredibly roomy (read the stats), has a convenient sliding/collapsing spacemaker shelf for tall items (although it is not specified in the features on the website), no dispensers or icemakers to take away from the refrigerator space (icemaker down in the freezer) or the door storage. There are 6 large door storage bins to easily accomodate condiments, gallons and gallons of milk, etc, 2 crisper drawers, and a pantry drawer for luncheon meats, cheeses, etc. to provide almost 20 cf of refrigerated storage! The freezer storage is almost 9 cf of storage, and the handy interior freezer slide-out shelf is great for Lean Cuisine, Hot Pockets, etc. organizing and storage. The icemaker makes plenty of ice, and is handy enough for us. The Gainesville BB staff were great, and patient, as we made several visits to look and ask questions. The delivery was fast and efficient. I helped the night before by prepping the front storm door, removing the hydraulic cylinders and any intrusions into the space inside the door frame. The unit is almost 36" square with the doors on, and the crew moved it through my 36" doorway effortlessly, without a scratch or ding. Definitely happy with another major appliance purchase from BB, and Samsung.

What's great about it: Quiet and space.
What's not so great: Digital lockout of the icemaker.
Owned this now for two years, it's quiet compared to many.
A few months ago, baby girl managed to get passed the "Child Lock" feature, it takes a bit of doing for little hands, must have spent some time on this; anyhow I thought the icemaker was broken and just happend to read the on line manual -I had no idea a refridgerator could turn off an icemanker, but that's what happened. Two weeks without ice before the obvious came to light. CHECK the digital display!
Anyhow, works as advertised and no complaints, money well spent and looking for another Samsung for the lower floor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: Would like an extra cold spot for milk, but that's personal preference.
As close to perfect as a refrigerator gets. Tremendous, well thought out space. The Cool Select Pantry is very flexible with three temp settings; keeps deli meats fresh for days and is large enough to accommodate serving trays. Crisper drawers are roomy. There is a shelf that can recess to half size allowing room for tall items like the rest of that bottle of wine. The interior lighting is excellent; makes finding things easy no matter where that are. So quiet I opened the door twice in the first few days to be sure it was working. Freezer is spacious and allows flexibility in how you store food. Dividers can be moved to suit individual preference. We love the clean look of no dispenser in the door and the ice maker in the freezer is very adequate.
BestBuy salesman and delivery guys were great. Knowledgeable and helpful. Delivery guys helped move our old side by side to a workshop without complaint. Delivery was quick and on time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: There's not an automatic ice shutoff
Our family loves this refrigerator. We love the look of the stainless steel, even though it's a challenge to keep clean with four kids running around. Plenty of room on the inside and the food doesn't get hid in the back and spoil like our old one. We love the french door style and the lock on the freezer keeps our 2yr old out. The LED's emitt a nice white light onto the food. Half of the middle shelf will slide back allowing a taller object on the shelf below which is nice. The digital thermostat for the freezer and frig temperature is great and if the door is left open there is an alarm that beeps. The only thing that I don't like about this frig is there is not an automatic ice maker shutoff, you have to hit the button to turn it off, not a big deal for us.
I would recommend this to a friend!
