Have had to purchase new appliances over the years for five homes I've owned. It's always been Frigidaire every time I moved for over 40+ years. I love my new range, which is identical to the one I bought 7 years ago. Wanted stainless so gave my black set to my granddaughter, who is thrilled to have them. beautiful appearance and impeccable service bring me back each time.

Nice, but....

This stove top scratches very easily. We are very careful with it. Bought high quality pots/pans, don't drag/scrape. Had a different smooth top stove for years, never scratched once. Have only had this stove a few weeks. But that's my only gripe .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We do recommend using a glass-ceramic cooktop cleaner with your new appliance, such as, our Cerama Bryte Complete Cooktop Cleaning Kit, on your cooktop. Just buff the cooktop with a non-abrasive cloth or no scratch cleaning pad. The special cooktop cleaning cream leaves a protective finish on the glass to help prevent scratches and abrasions. Great Range

Our appliance "package" in our new build included this Frigidaire range. It has all the features we were looking for; glass top, self cleaning, stainless steel and expandable burner. The glass top is easy to clean, and burners & oven temps are true values. Couldn't be happier with our Frigidaire appliances.

difficult to keep glass top clean

Everything about the range is exceptional except the glass top. I have tried to keep it clean and have used approved products in order to do so. However, if any food/liquid from whatever you are cooking gets on the glass top, it is very difficult to get it off.
