Love My New Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a house & the renters stole the appliances. The seller bought Frigidaire stove, fridge & dishwasher. Very happy with Frigidaire. At first I didn't know if I'd like the stove because its not gas. Turns out my family loves it. I have been baking a lot with excellent results. Very easy to keep the top clean!

I like this oven, but man, what if you have a problem?

This oven was in the house we purchased three years ago. I'm not sure how old it is.
Ran the "clean" function for the first time finally, and within a week or two it started getting too hot and burning things inside. Finally got a F 10 signal on the board and started checkign things out.
So the manual says we should check the probe and if that still malfunctions, may need to replace the electric control panel.
The FUNNY thing is that frigidaire uses a lot of different probes in their ovens. Tried to order one but it doesn't fit. There is no parts list in the manual or diagram in spite of all their assurances.
I'm on the phone hoping I can get a part number to order ... idk maybe they do this with every brand these days but it shouldn't be that hard.
Hopefully the probe (and maybe the electric panel) will solve the issue. Otherwise we like it a lot.

I Love the easy to clean surface.

In the time i've owned the appliance, the easy clean surfaces save me time during clean up. The selectable front burner give me options on pan size from small to large depending on my cooking needs. Also the temperature controls are wonderful and accurate.

Cleans up easy. Really like the feature with the small/large element option. Haven't used the self clean feature yet. Cooks evenly and heats up quickly.

Happy with our Choice

Overall, we are very happy with the Frigidaire 30" range. The expandable stove top element is very functional and all the elements heat up fast and seem to regulate the temperature so food does not burn. My only concern is having to use the ceramic cleaner on the cooktop surface. A little more time consuming than I had imagined.
