Large oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range was provided by our builder in our new home; we did not choose it ourselves. Overall I am happy with it, although I don't particularly care for the look, especially of the control panel. There is one dual heat burner which is nice, and also one 12-inch burner. Would have been really nice if this was also dual heat, as I don't use a 12-inch pan/pot that often, so it's kind of a waste. The two small simmer burners are both in the back, so you have to reach over the larger front burners to use them. The oven has been fine so far. I highly recommend using a cream cleanser on the cooktop surface before you use it for the first time and then periodically, as it really does help keep the surface looking good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The contractor actually selected this range, but I am very happy with it. I like the fact that it is old school. My last range had touch screen controls and as a result, I accidentally left it on one night. With the turn dials I believe that's less likely to happen!

Pretty on the outside but not the inside

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This appliance was including in our new home. It fits wonderfully, but the oven does run cooler. I have to add 10 mins to everything I cook in the oven. I attempted to check the temperature with a meat thermometer this weekend, but couldn't keep the thermometer off the metal. I will be purchasing an oven thermometer soon to check it.

Yikes! I can help with this, ssago1. If you think the oven is cooking too hot or too cool for your recipe times, you can adjust the control so the oven cooks hotter or cooler than the temperature displayed. You will find the instructions on page 18 in your Owner’s Manual. Do not use oven thermometers such as those found in grocery stores to check the temperature settings inside your oven. These oven thermometers may vary as much as 20 to 40 degrees from actual temperatures. A restaurant supply store would have a more accurate thermometer. Easy to use and care for

Terrible stove top burners
