Great Stove

We read more reviews than I care to remember before deciding to buy this particular stove. Turns out to be everything we needed in a stove. I can't think of a single feature that we haven't used. We originally thought the griddle would just be a "gimmick" accessory but am very surprised how many time we have actually used it to make pancakes or french toast.
There are some negative reviews out there that complain about melting the knobs and we considered this when making our decision. This has been a total "non-issue" and I can only attribute that happening to "operator error" and not a design defect.
Will be replacing the refrigerator next year and will definitely be looking at this brand again.

Exceptional quality. Burner cook very consistant and boils water very quickly. The center buner is wonderful for either using the included skillet or any large long flat pan.

Love my New Stove!

After very careful consideration and many days of searching and reading reviews, I finally decided on this stove by LG. We recently GUTTED our kitchen and redid everything about it. There were a lot of decisions to be made and it was a once-in-a-lifetime chance to choose all new appliances. That meant getting the best for the least. I read Consumers Report, product reviews online and talked with salepeople in the stores. What I didn't want was something that was difficult to clean up and most of the stainless models had that going against them. This one with the black platform under the burners is somewhat better. It is still the one and only downfall I can write about. I hesitate to fry anything as it results in a full stovetop cleanup, removing all three heavy grates to wipe up the well-recognized spatter. The one thing I didn't care one way or the other about was the convection feature that some stoves had. I wasn't even sure that this one had it, but alas it does. Haven't tried that yet, but I do have one friend who really likes it, so I'm eager to try it. This stove is well made; it's heavier than my last gas stove. Love the blue interior! The look of this stove is pleasing to the eye. Leveling it was probably the most challenging part of the installation, but once done, is done forever. Would buy again.

Terrific Range

We don't do much cooking, but our previous range had problems, and begged for replacement. I researched ranges, and went into local stores for for a couple of weeks, and finally decided on this LG. I need to add that we have an LG TV, and Blu-Ray player that we're very happy with. This range was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but I'm glad I did. Everything we cook/roast/bake comes out better than ever before, and I love the intuitive touch controls. The one issue I have is with the alarm tone which needs a larger volume range. It's loudest still can't be heard unless there's no other sound, or you're in the kitchen.

Great range for everyday cooking

Oven heats super fast & has good capacity. Controls are easy to use.
Only downsides, which are minor, are that the grill takes forever to get to temperature (don't use it much) and the superboil doesn't seem to heat water any faster than my old stove.
All else is great. Really like the convection.
