Much faster than LaserJet 6MP!

LaserJet Pro P1606dn replaces LaserJet LaserJet 6MP that ran reliably for 13 years. Improvements in P1606dn are quite evident; speed, automatic duplexing, memory increase, are immediately noticeable and beneficial to the user. Software installation was easy and printer interface has some new enhancements. Manual is in PDF format and its clarity is good. I am looking forward to using this LaserJet for many years.

It is OK. But if you wish to use wireless feature, you will be disappointed. I have not configured ePrint yet. But remember it is not wireless. I was confused by the ePrint.

Plug-n-play, fast, efficient

What more could I ask for? I plugged it in, it ran all the software necessary to get it running and I'm ready to go. It prints fast with nice detail and shuts off to conserve power. I use it for my business and it prints about 70 pages a day, perfectly. I cannot think of anything more I could ask for from a printer. I've never said this before but this is the perfect printer.

I ordered this to replace a MFP so I miss the scanner, but I was impressed with the ease of setup. Network printers were especially simple to install. I did not buy this printer because it had eprint capabilities, but I love the feature. Much easier and cheaper than any other solution to print from my tablet

All of our reports finally print properly! Unit is small, has some neat features we're enjoying & is easy to install & use. I only wish it were wireless. The features we like are the second paper tray and the quick, quiet printing. the download for the PCL5e was easy to find & install too.

Good Inexpensive Printer

Needed a LaserJet printer with built-in 10-base-t network connection. This unit fits the bill and has a nice small footprint for small office desktop use. Somewhat noisy in the fast mode, but the noise stops quickly due to the speed of the printer. The quiet mode is much quieter, but the speed is significantly reduced by more than half. At least you have the choice. Build quality is typical for this low end printer, but I suspect is will hold up okay in a small office environment.
