I should have gone Laserjet years ago!

Terrific everyday black and white printer. HP is right-on when it states that the first page prints in 7 seconds. Auto-duplexing is great and is very flexible for printing non-consecutive pages in a document. Installation was a breeze.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Using this printer as a networked printer, it has performed flawlessly out of the box. The automatic duplexing, fast operation, sharp images and relative quietness are all positives (compared to my noisy, firmware glitch-laden Photosmart C309). The only negative that I have encountered is difficulty properly duplexing when using my Vista laptop. It works perfectly with my Windows 7 PC, however.

We use this in our shop with our laptop to print diagnostic information downloaded from our trucks. Prints very fast. Mechanics are very satisfied with it. If they are happy I am happy

This is a great little printer. It is extremely fast, it is a little noisy, but acceptable, and the double-sided automatic printing feature is wonderful. The print quality is exceptional, for the price paid. I teach at a local community college. This printer will save me a lot of money on paper by double-printing student handouts.

I replaced a HP 1300 that I had been using for ca 8 years. The new printer does everything that the HP 1300 could do, and I am pleased with my recent purchase.
