Great printer at great price!

Box contained everything as advertised. I set mine up as a network printer on my home network with 4 Macs. Extremely easy setup, and the printer is now available from all computers. Very impressive speed.

My husband's current job requires printing anywhere from 5 to 100 pages per day. After more than 15 years of heavy use and absolutely no problems, it finally became time to replace our faithful HP 2100. We purchased an HP LaserJet 1415 color 4-in-1 that is a wonderful product and delivers great quality printing. However, we needed something a little bit faster and more economical for the black/white printing. The HP Laserjet P1606dn is the perfect choice. I researched a variety of models before purchasing and found that the reviews for the P1606dn were pretty positive across the board. We've had the unit for about 3 weeks now and are happy as clams with everything about it. The printing is superfast, especially for the first copy which seems to come out almost instantaneously. The quality is great, even on the economy setting, and the automatic duplexing is a dream come true. We are saving time, paper and ink as well as space due to the compact design of the unit. Easy setup and a great price. We couldn't be happier with the purchase. HP products continue to be the best way to go in my opinion.

A good printer

I purchased the P1606dn to replace a P2015dnp. The P1606dn was selected for its duplex capability. The P1606 can print on both sides - manually. It's a good printer, however it isn't in the same class as the P2015.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Never a Disappointment

Although I have only yesterday got my new wireless computers and printers up and running and have really not had an opportunity to use my new printer very much , I fully expect it to be flawless, as were the two HP laser printers I have had in the past.

The HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn Printer we ordered is very easy to set up and does a terrific job. The number of pages printed per minute are wonderful, much faster than the one we had previously.
We would encourage anyone looking for a good value in laser printing to purchase one.

Was using an old HP6P which is no longer compatible had to upgrade. This printer is a great replacement for the 6p.
