This printer is fast and prints on both sides. I can't vouch for the quality, though, since I have only owned it for a couple of weeks.

This printer works great it is fast and does two sided printing, easy to install. My only grip is that the feature set advertised indicates e-print and air print (Apple's e-print) but does not tell you that the printer must be hard wired connected to a network for these functions to work. In my case I have a usb connection to the printer and no facility for a hard wire to my home network. It is too bad that the product lacks wireless networking capability.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased for my wife's small business. The printer looks sharp and was very simple to install. Impressed with the print speed (compared to inkjet printers) and the sharpness of the characters. The energy saving feature is nice also.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Value for the Cost

A very good printer for the cost involved. It prints quickly, fairly quiet and so far has not jammed.
A bit disappointed in lack of manual included. I had to learn by trial and error how to use the 2nd (or manual feed) tray. Once I figured it out, I really like the printer.
We have purchased a 2nd one since our initial purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to set up...easy to use and FAST! Pages full of graphics are usually printed BEFORE I can close the files! This is the best laser printer I've ever owned!

Perfect Network Printer

Initially I thought a Wireless printer was the best choice however when I tried one I had a Loss of Wireless Connection too often. HP Tech support recommended the P1606dn printer and it works like a champ.
My only complaint is: Upon a Power loss it doesn't return to a READY State when power is restored. Because I use HPEprint when I'm not at home and power is lost here too often, this has become a slight annoyance.
All the other HP printers I have owned and the Photosmart 7560 I still have return to a ready state when power is restored! MAYBE A FUTURE FIRMWARE UPDATE WILL CORRECT THIS....HINT HINT
