Samsung DVD Players play ALL my DVDs!!! :)

I have an eclectic collection of dvd's that are no longer available anywhere. Other dvd players, even brand new, moan and groan and refuse to play many of them. Why I don't know. But I did know that my Samsung dvd player (5 to 10 years old) plays ALL my dvds with no prob whatsoever. SO, I decided to try another Samsung. Sure nuff, I popped in one of my "problem" irreplaceable dvd's and it played like it was something super special, which it is. So my hunch was right. Other manufacturers don't know what they are doing. Samsung does. As long as Samsung players play my rare dvds, they have a devoted customer for life!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, plays all my dvds!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this player to work with an older TV and audio system. My TV does not have HDMI. This player is a bargain, especially if you need component video output.
Pros: Inexpensive, component output

Good Up-Conversion HD DVD Player

So far this DVD player has performed flawlessly. I purchased it around July of 2012 and have played hundreds of DVD's and MPG's on it. I gave 4 stars to the value rating as I thought it was a little pricey. I also gave 4 stars to the feature rating as the remote is kind of awkward the way the buttons are lined up on it. Those would be my only complaints thus far with it. I like how if you stop a movie and shut it down, the next time you power it up, it takes off where you stopped it. The colors are good and the menu and set-up were very user friendly. I own quite a few Samsung products and not one of them have ever let me down.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: awkward button line up on the remote control, pricey for the technology
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great multi-region DVD player

I have the multi-region DVD player and it works perfect with regions 1 and 4, if you are looking for a multi-region I would recommend this DVD player.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, works perfect with regions 1 and 4

I moved my son's gaming area to the basement and had to add HD TV along with accessories like a new DVD player. The Samsung was sleek & stylish while providing high quality performance for a great price.
