The image quality of my new (refurbished) lens is astounding on my (also refurbished) 80D. It can almost see in the dark, focuses fast, and the colors seem to be better somehow. (Hard to put my finger on it.) Refurbished is the way to go -- indistinguishable from new but at a nicer price.

Finally jumped on the band wagon for this lense. Even though it is a refurb, it looks brand new and functions like it was new. I am just an amateur, but my keep rate for photo's has gone through the roof with this lense on a Canon 80D. Highly recomment this lense.
