Great features for a good price

Exactly what I've been searching for

I had to find an over-the-stovetop microwave to replace a completely inadequate unit that came with the house. This microwave has everything I was looking for - 2 lights positioned over the cooktop burners that have hi-lo light settings, a very powerful but quiet 4 stage fan to vent steam outside the house, a cooking cavity big enough to hold large casserole dishes that will turn on the turntable, and a versatile set of cooking options with cook sensing. I was disappointed that the "EZ on" function only sets for 30 seconds (I would prefer 1 minutes) and when the microwave is running, the fan speed automatically steps down. It is a powerful oven drawing 1100 watts when the microwave turns on, so I guess it isn't designed to simultaneously run the fan at high speed. The fan can be set to run for a set time and turn itself off. I use that feature when I'm cleaning the electric oven to vent all of the cook smells out of the house. I've had the microwave 6 months now and am thrilled with its operation.

We really love this microwave! The inside capacity is quite large yet the outside cabinet is very sleek. All of our appliances are LG because their stainless finish is so appealing. It also cleans up beautifully!

Bought to replace our old outdated appliances and match our other new Fridge and Range.
Wonderful features, most I probably will never use, but all the same very versatile. Enormous amount of space inside and cooks very evenly. The best feature, if you can call it one is how quiet the unit is while cooking. Very Very pleased.

Very innovative

Impressed with overall product.
Love the shortcut buttons, as it takes the guessing game out of times to cook and generally cooks, defrosts,reheats, melts correctly...most times does not under/over cook products.
My only negative is I need to press the buttons with more pressure than other microwaves I have had, as this microwave is not sensitive to your touch, therefore, I tend to need to reset time or weight, etc.
LG is a reputable company and has really rose to setting high standards on their products.
My husband is in the AC/refridgeration business and is equally impressed with their innovations.
Many construction company's are using LG as their choice of product when installing for new construction.
I would definitely recommend this product.

Good Over The Range Microwave

This is a nice looking microwave. It heats well. We use the features, Quick On which is 30 seconds and press again for more; Reheat #1 works well for most meals on a plate. The Turbo fan sucks the steam outside very well. The light is a warm color for cooking or use low as a nightlight. You can turn off the beeps. You can turn off the turntable. The only thing I would change is the stainless steel to hide finger prints better and the door to close quieter.

Almost Perfect

This Microwave has every thing I needed. I basically only use a microwave to heat things up so I wasn't too picky with which one I chose. I chose this one because the price was right and it complimented my new LG Oven, so I thought.
My only complaint is the clock. The clock on this microwave is bluish in color and the clock on my oven is green. Why would LG make two different color clocks when the two appliances should compliment each other. Its annoying to look at since the microwave sits over the oven.
